  • Active accounts: Your data is retained while your account is active
  • Account deletion: When you delete your account, all your data is immediately and permanently deleted from our servers
  • Cached data: Local device caches are cleared upon sign out

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access your data: View your habits, completions, and profile in the app
  • Export your data: Download all your data as a JSON file from Settings > Data Management
  • Delete your data: Delete your account and all associated data from Settings > Account > Delete Account
  • Control privacy: Set individual habits as private, visible to all friends, or shared with specific friends
  • Manage notifications: Control notification preferences in the app settings
  • Opt out of analytics: Disable analytics tracking in your device settings

Data Deletion Instructions

To delete your account and all associated data:

  1. Open Habitability
  2. Go to Profile > Settings
  3. Scroll to Account section
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm by entering your username
  6. Your data will be immediately and permanently deleted

Children's Privacy

Habitability is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

  • Secure authentication with session tokens
  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Row-level security on database tables
  • Biometric authentication option (Face ID/Touch ID)

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
